Impact
What we have moved, and exactly how we count it.
Our numbers are small and real. Each is dated, and each says what it does and does not show.
Figures as of October 2026.
Mibe Poultry
0+
Farmers partnered
Smallholder farmers we have bought birds from. “+” means at least this many.
0+
Businesses supplied
Restaurants, hotels and retailers receiving regular or repeat deliveries.
0+
Birds moved each month
Monthly volume across all buyers. It varies by cycle, so read it as a floor.
What this does not show: we have not yet measured farmer income change against a baseline. We will not claim it until we have.
SurplusHub
0 kg
Surplus food diverted
Edible surplus routed to livestock feed rather than landfill.
0 kg
CO₂e avoided
Estimated landfill emissions avoided by that diversion.
How the emissions figure is calculated
- Source
- US EPA Waste Reduction Model (WARM), version 16, landfilling emission factor for food waste.
- Factor
- 0.508 MTCO₂E per short ton, national average. That is 0.56 tCO₂e per tonne.
- Calculation
- 100 kg = 0.1 tonne. 0.1 × 0.56 = 0.056 tCO₂e, or 56 kg CO₂e.
- Limits
- The factor is a US average, used here as the best available proxy. It counts avoided landfill emissions only and does not credit the feed displaced. The volume is a small early pilot, so the figure is indicative.
